Six reasons practices switch

Experience the RadsForVets Advantage

  • 01

1 Hour Stat, 24 Hour Routine

Choose the turnaround your case actually needs. STAT reads are typically completed within 1 hour, any time of day, every day of the year. Routine cases are read within 24 hours. You pick the tier per case, not per contract.

  • 02

Expert Team of Board Certified Radiologists

Every case is read by a board-certified veterinary radiologist, not a general reviewer, not an AI-only system. You have direct access to the reading radiologist for follow-up questions on any case.

  • 03

    Cutting-Edge Teleradiology Solution

Our RADical platform makes submitting cases, tracking status, and retrieving reports simple, built specifically for veterinary teleradiology workflows, not adapted from human medicine software.

  • 04

    No Minimums

No contracts and no monthly case minimums. Send one case this month and fifty the next, the pricing and service level don't change either way.

  • 05

    24x7 Staffed Customer Service

Live, clinically-aware support around the clock, including overnight and holiday shifts, so on-call staff always have someone to reach.

  • 06

Modalities Accepted (XR, CT, MRI, US, Fluoroscopy)

We read X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy studies across all species, dogs, cats, exotics, and equine.

The gap we close

The hardest cases rarely arrive during business hours.

What happens when a case comes in and there's no radiologist on staff?

Most veterinary hospitals don't have a board-certified radiologist in the building, especially overnight, on weekends, or during a busy ER shift. That gap forces a choice: treat based on a general read and hope nothing was missed, or wait hours for a specialist opinion while the patient waits too. RadsForVets closes that gap directly. Submit the case through our platform and a board-certified radiologist reads it, STAT cases in 1 hour, routine cases in 24 hours, any time of day, every day of the year.

Why should the overnight vet have to also be the radiologist?

Overnight and emergency shifts are already the hardest hours to staff. The vet on call is running the floor, managing multiple cases, and making treatment calls with no backup in the building, and on top of all that, they're often the one reading their own radiographs at 2am, because there's simply no one else to ask. RadsForVets gives overnight and emergency staff a board-certified radiologist to lean on around the clock, so the person managing the floor isn't also the only person reading the film.

What if the turnaround is too slow to actually change the treatment plan?

A radiology report that arrives after the patient has already been treated, discharged, or transferred isn't as useful as it could have been. That's why RadsForVets built two tiers: a 1-hour STAT option for cases where the read changes what happens next, and a 24-hour routine option for everything else.

What if a subtle finding gets missed on a general read?

Radiographic findings that indicate serious pathology are sometimes easy to miss on a quick read. Every case sent to RadsForVets is read by a radiologist who does this and only this, all day, trained specifically to catch what a general read is more likely to miss.

A Few Words From...

Miriam M. Shanaman

VMD, MS, DACVR, Chief Medical Officer and Co-Founder

Thank you so much for visiting and taking the time to learn more about our mission! Through my previous experience in large-volume specialty practice to my more recent experience in teleradiology, I have enjoyed the opportunity to support veterinary colleagues, people and their pets both on the clinic floor and remotely.

Through these experiences I have come to recognize that our shared goal of providing gold-standard veterinary care in a compassionate, consistent and efficient way has been significantly limited by the technology that is available to deliver this type of service. At RadsForVets, I was fortunate to join a like-minded (and super fun) team of experienced and innovative industry experts that recognize similar limitations in our industry.

We are motivated by creating, constantly evolving and delivering a service solution that challenges the existing norms with the primary intent of fostering collaboration and improving patient outcomes. We would be so grateful for the opportunity to learn more about your team and how we might be able to support you.
